Hello! Explorers and budding young Scientists! My friends and I are going to take you through some videos to show you what we do in Antarctica! Let’s get started!
The first day, we spent around Scott Base, getting to know the place.
The second day we went look at the seals! Seal monitoring or surveying was about identifying which seals had tags on them and also whether each tag had a number on it. Take a look!
After that, we went to take a look at the McMurdo base which was the American one. It was much bigger than Scott Base (though a lot more dust and rust)!
Once we were back in the field, we had to set up a weather station to measure the radiation from the sun, the speeds of the wind and know more about the forces of nature.
Hope you enjoyed these videos. There are a lot more stories to tell about young scientists in Antarctica. If you are a teacher or a student, you can share this poster with your school.

See you soon!
